101. A Song About Adhiyamaan Nedumaan Anji

We did not go for a single day. We did not go for two days. We went several days with several people. But he received us with the same desire which was on the first day. He has elephants with golden ornaments on their foreheads and beautiful chariots. Though he delays to give gifts or not, like the food that is kept in between the tusks of the elephant, it is sure that we can get it. Oh heart ! Don't worry. Let his feet long live. -Awvaiyaar

The bulls are young. They are capable of drawing the cart without knowing that the wood lock is attached to their necks. The cart is overloaded . The salt sellers afraid what will happen to the cart when its wheels go down to the pit or go up the bump. They attach a safety axle to support the main axle. Pohutezhini is like that safety axle. 103. A SongAbout Adhiyamaan Nedumaan anji

Oh Virali ! You are bearing a kaavadi. At one end of the kaavadi, there is a padhalai and at the other end there is a muzha. You are walking with a thought , “who will fill up my vessel ? “ You go to Adhiyamaan. His palace is not so far. The smoke which arose when the fire was lighted to destroy the enemies cover the young elephants like the clouds that cover the hills. He who has a vel is in the nearby enemy country. He will fill up your eating vessels with sweet fleshy food , so that it never goes empty. Though the world suffers with poverty, he will not fail to give you. Let his golden kazhals live who will give to the beggars. -Awvaiyaar

Oh enemy warriors ! I am telling you this. Save yourself. Though the water source is so small so that small children stir the water with their ankles, the crocodiles in that water source will be strong enough to kill the strong elephants. Our lord Nedumaan Anji is also having such strength. Not knowing his brave deeds, if you wish to have his enmity thinking that he is young, you cannot succeed. -Awvaiyaar

Oh Virali having beautiful forehead ! You will get valuable ornaments. The honey drops which come from the blue flowers in the big pond run through the ploughed land though the rain falls or not. As the last fire wood which was put in the oven was sandal wood its sweet smell mixed with the aroma of the vengai flowers spread . Paari was a patron who felt happy on giving to those who come praising his Parambu hill. Oh three kings having hills and victorious murasus ! You three surrounded his country together. Paari's Parambu hill has four kinds of yieldings got without ploughing. There paddy grows in small leaved bamboo. There are sweet smelling jack fruits everywhere. In the valli creepers there are tubers(eatable roots). The honey combs springs honey when the male monkeys jump on them. His hill is as vast as the sky. The water sources in the hill are as many as the stars in the sky. Though you tie up your elephants to each tree, keep standing your chariots in the empty places, you cannot succeed in your effort of winning him. You cannot get his country with your swords. He won't give his country. I know how to capture his country. So you do what I say. If you with yaazhs, followed by your wives as Viraliyar and if you go singing and dancing in front of Paari, he will give his Parambu hill and his country as gifts. -Kapilar
