182. A Song Written By Kadalul Maindha Ilamperu Vazhudhi

Oh ! This world is without perishing for a long time. What is the reason for this ? The reason for its non perishing is- there are people who do not eat amudham which gives immortality without sharing it with others; those who do not hate others and do not show anger to others; those who do not sleep for a long time. They afraid to do the deeds which are afraid by the nobles. They give their lives if fame comes. If on doing a deed which brings blame , they do not do it even if they get the world as a reward for that. They have no tiredness. They have such high qualities. They do not strain for their lives, but they strain hard for others' lives. Because of these people , this world is still in movement.

183. A Song Written By Paandiyan Aariyappadai Kadandha Nedunjchezhiyan

Help the teacher when he needs. Give much wealth to him. Don't hate being in a lower state. Doing all these , learning is good. Among the children who are born in the same family, due to the greatness of education, even the mother will like that son who has education and will hate the uneducated son. Among the children of the same family, the king will not call the eldest but will rule with the guidance of the educated , though he is younger. Among the four different castes, if the person belongs to the lowest caste is educated, the person belongs to higher caste has to obey to him and learn from him.

184. A Song About Paandiyan Arivudaiyanambi

If we harvest the paddy, cook it and give it as balls to an elephant, the paddy which is grown in a small land will become food for it many days. But if we let the elephant to craze in the field, even the paddy in a large field will not be enough for it. The quantity of paddy eaten by the elephant will be smaller than the quantity of paddy destroyed by its legs. If the king collects the tax in the right way, the people will give a large amount as tax and the country also will prosper. When the foolish king along with his companions who do not know the status of the people tries to get tax from the people without kindness, he cannot get much tax. His country will be destroyed like the field where the elephant is let to craze. -Pisir Aandhaiyaar

If the driver is skillful , the cart will run smoothly and the travel will be without any hurdle. But if he does not know how to drive, it will immerse in the enmity mud and face many bad events.

186. A Song Written By Mosi Keeranaar

To the people of the world eating food (paddy ) is not the life and drinking water is not the life. To this broad world the king alone is the life. So it is the duty of the king to know that he is the life of this world and to protect it.

Whether it is a country, whether it is a forest, whether it is a valley, whether it is a plateau the land will be good and fertile if the people who live there are good. Oh good land ! You long live.

Though we have much wealth, though we have many relatives to whom with we share our food, there is no use in our life if we do not have children. The children will walk with short steps. They stretch their small hands. They put their hands in our eating vessels, touch the food, take some food , wither away the ghee mixed rice on their body and make us forget ourselves by their activities.

189. A Song Written By Madhurai Kanakkaayanaar Mahanaar Nakkeeranaar

To the king who rules the whole world and to the uneducated who awaits for the animal not sleeping in the day and night, the quantity of food is a measureful and the dresses are two. All the other needs are the same. So giving to others is the use of the wealth. If we think that we will consume all, we will loose many good things.

190. A Song Written By Sozhan Nalluruththiran

Let the friendship with those who are like the rats which steel the paddy which is grown by the efforts of the farmer and those who do not give their wealth to others be ruined. Let the friendship with those who have such a strength of a tiger which does not eat the hog as it fell on the left hand side and kills the male elephant and makes it fall on its right hand side and eats in the next day be grown. Let the days with the nobles be so many.
